I had such high hopes for last week and then Grady came home from school on Tuesday and the vomit started. We quickly resorted to survival mode is what I'm saying. Things began to look better and then yesterday we were hit with round two of the barfs. I'm lowering my expectations this week, keeping things as simple as possible, and trying to get my family healthy in time to enjoy Christmas.
Monday: spinach salad topped with baked chicken breast
Tuesday: purple cabbage sautéed with bacon and onions, topped with baked chicken breast
Wednesday: pancakes, bacon, cheesy scrambled eggs, roasted sweet potato home fries
Thursday: turkey tacos with leftover sweet potatoes from the previous night
Friday: takeout pizza if everyone is healthy
