Last week was a bit of a write-off in the meal planning department. We ordered pizza. Cereal was consumed for many meals. We valiantly attempted to eat our greens but fell short. I'm clawing my way back up on the meal planning bandwagon this week with the hope that it means less takeout and more vegetables.
Monday: Barbecued hot dogs and green salad. (Look. Don't judge. We rarely buy hot dogs but Lady Baby gets what Lady Baby wants and right now she wants barbecued hotdogs with extra ketchup.)
Tuesday: Buddha Bowl for me. Green salad with grilled chicken breast for Shawn.
Wednesday: Shredded chicken burritos with guacamole. Green juice.
Thursday: Breakfast for dinner. Poached eggs, roasted sweet potatoes, avocado, and sautéed spinach with garlic served alongside cinnamon french toast.
Friday: Homemade pizza served with fresh fruit and veggies.
