You guys, I am struggling. I have no appetite but I'm hungry. It makes no sense. I need to eat (growing a fetus requires extra calories!) but I have absolutely no desire to. Everything gives me raging heartburn. The only things that don't sound totally disgusting to me are citrus fruit (give me all the citrus!) and Caesar salad but both make my heartburn even worse than it already is. (Obviously still really pumped to be growing a fetus and recognize how lucky I am to be in this position, I'm just having a tough time.)
I'm forcing myself to stick to a meal plan because I want to us to be eating somewhat healthy, home-cooked meals but it's a struggle. I am dreading my time in the kitchen and this is a new feeling for me. I could use some easy-to-prepare, not-too-fancy meal suggestions is what I'm saying.
Monday: I have a massage appointment after work (JOY) so the boys will be eating leftover pizza and I will most likely eat three oranges and a Caesar salad when I get home and then suffer all night.
Tuesday: Grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup served with apple slices.
Wednesday: Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef served over quinoa with steamed broccoli and carrots.
Thursday: Sweet Potato Turkey Chili with guacamole.
