Meal Plan 12/14/2015 - 12/18/2015

My love / hate relationship with food continues. I remember how much I used to enjoy food but everything still makes me feel terrible. I've been warned that I'll end up needing meal replacement drinks (protein smoothies - barf) if I don't start gaining in my second trimester (I'm only up one pound since the start of my pregnancy, though the beach ball I'm currently smuggling under my shirt suggests otherwise) so I'm making an effort to eat every meal even though it's no fun.

Monday: We're eating at Shawn's mom's house for his brother's birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BUDDY!) so no cooking today.

Tuesday: Slow-cooker Chicken Teriyaki-ish served over quinoa with steamed broccoli and fresh pineapple.

Wednesday: Roast beef with roasted carrots, onions, celery, and potatoes. Served with green salad.

Thursday: Three-cheese tortellini with tomato cream sauce and green salad for those of us trying to gain weight. Giant green salad topped with leftover beef for those of us who aren't.

Friday: Some form of leftovers.
