My mom is really into making natural beauty products. Bar soap, shampoo, lotions and potions - you name it, she makes it. It's great because I'm currently very twitchy about putting things in and on my body.

I have blood drawn frequently. On both arms, my elbow-crook-blood-test-areas have developed these tough scaly patches where the skin used to be soft and delicate (cancer is super sexy. I know.)

My mom gave me one of her special creams to heal my dragon skin. She labelled it "Booboo Cream." Not to be funny. It's booboo cream. Take it seriously.

Here's the thing - it really works. And it makes me smile. And adds a sense of levity to this clusterfuck of nuisances and pain and uncertainty.

Booboo cream, man. Get some.
