Hillary's Super Fabulous Holiday Gift Guide of Loveliness

I miss the Style / Food Lush gift guides and my buddy Caitlin's gift guides blew me away so I thought I'd take a stab at creating my own. Some of these items are things I own and love (I'll note these things specifically so you know they're Hillary-approved!) Some are things on my own wishlist. And some are things I just find cool or quirky. No affiliate links or shady kickbacks included.

One More Day Tee - $38.00

The One More Day Tee is a collaboration between Modern Fort and Arrow House Design Studio and supports families affected by cancer. Partial proceeds from every purchase in the month of November will help ease the financial and emotional burden of cancer patients.

I can't speak to the quality of the tee because I just ordered mine today but the cause speaks to my heart so I'm giving it the Hillary stamp of approval.

Kal Barteski #kbWILDER orca print - $31.00

This print is high on my wishlist. Living in BC, orcas have a special place in my heart and this print makes me happy in a way I can't explain.

Wrenn Jewelry Bangle Bracelet Set - $85

I love this bangle set and I love that it's made by a mama who makes jewelry so she can stay home with her littles (plus she's also a cancer warrior so I kind of have a bit of a crush on her I think.)

Victoria Gin - $50 (Hillary approved!)

I'm going to make a bold statement here, you guys. Victoria Gin is my favourite gin. Handmade in small batches in a copper pot still on Vancouver Island, Victoria Gin is smooth with just a bit of a bite.

PumpEase Wet Bag - $14.00 (Hillary approved!)

Full disclosure: I do some work for Snugabell. I wasn't asked to include this on my gift guide and I'm not receiving anything for writing about it, I just really love my wet bag. Pre-Grady Hillary didn't even know what a wet bag was but I firmly believe that wet bags are useful for everyone so I'm including it here.

Wet bags are lifesavers. They're big in the cloth diapering crowd but Grady and I use ours for lugging home soggy bathing suits from the pool, carrying leaky water bottles instead of just throwing them in my purse, toiletries, electronics (they're not just for keeping wet things contained, they're also great for keeping dry things dry in wet scenarios - like keeping your phone and wallet safe at the beach.)

Minimalist Vancouver Map - $25

I love this map by Portland artist Archie Archambault. I'm partial to the Vancouver map but there are different cities to choose from and a super cool layout of the solar system.

Carry on, Warrior by Glennon Doyle Melton - $15.00 (Hillary approved!)

I recently read this book and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I laughed. I cried. I felt all the feels. If you follow the link on her page you can order it for 25% off (I don't know how long that promo is valid.)

Mother & Child Calendar - $13.99

It's one of my life goals to one day have an original Katie M. Berggren painting hanging on my wall but until that day comes, this calendar will have to do. I'm lucky enough to have one of her prints and I love it as much today as I did the day it arrived. Her use of colours, her lines, the way her heart shines through her art (plus her fantastic customer service) - I capital-L Love Katie M. Berggren.

Raw Amethyst Cocktail Ring by Social Experiment - $30 (Hillary approved!)

I bought this ring as a remission present to myself and I love it. The customer service I received was exceptional, the quality of the amethyst is superb, and it makes me happy to wear a giant purple rock. (I wear mine on my middle finger with no other jewelry; this bad boy stands on its own.)

Le Creuset Zen Kettle in Palm - $100

Oh how I lust after this kettle. This kettle will be a permanent fixture on my stove if I am ever lucky enough to unwrap this beauty.

Luxi iPhone Light Meter - $30

Luxi turns your iPhone into an incident light meter. If this worked for iPhone 6 it would already be in my shopping cart (currently only works with iPhone 5 and 5S.)

Bittered Sling Extracts - assorted prices

High-quality, small-batch, Vancouver-made using homegrown and artisanal ingredients, cocktail bitters. Need I say more?

Chakra Prehnite Mala by Mala Collective - $82.50 (and free shipping!)

I have a couple Mala Collective bracelets and I love them. Plus the company is super cool and who doesn't love free shipping? The yogi on your list is sure to love this mala.

I don't think you can go wrong with fancy chocolate but Purdys treats are particularly festive.

Coffee Understands - Art Print - $17

It's possible I'm not over this whole decaf thing yet. I love this coffee print but Ein Bier, Bitte! has a ton of great stuff (like this namaste set) and there's currently a buy 2 get 3rd free promo.
