The Grey Cup is coming to Vancouver and though I'm admittedly not a football enthusiast, I am a fan of family-friendly events (especially family-friendly events featuring pancakes!)
The 102nd Grey Cup Festival kicks off on November 26th and culminates with the big game on November 30th.
The festival is packed with family-oriented events, tasty food, and tons of live music. The Nissan Family Zone features face painting, the Canadian Forces obstacle course, the CN Safety Zone, and more. If you want to enjoy the great outdoors, the Telus Street Festival will have daily food trucks (count me in!), interactive games, and giveaways. The Save-On-Foods Grey Cup Festival Parade will wind its way through the streets of Vancouver on Saturday, November 29th and promises to have floats, a marching band, cheerleaders, alumni, and the coveted Grey Cup.
This is only a taste of what the Grey Cup Festival has to offer leading up to the big game, and the best part is there's something for everyone (well, and the whole being free part. That's good too.) You don't have to love football to have fun at the Grey Cup festival. Grady and I will be there bopping along to the fantastic live music and hunting down bags of warm mini doughnuts because we have our priorities straight.
Vancouver locals, you want to win this Grey Cup Contest Prize Pack (it's $950 worth of awesome Grey Cup stuff and the chance for your child to ride in a VIP vehicle as part of the Save-On-Foods Grey Cup Festival Parade!)
